my psychiatrist just isn't helping or doing her job?!

Question: My psychiatrist just isn't helping or doing her job?
i have really bad paranoia that's just returned to it's full extent but fuller and everyone is always staring, whispering and laughing at me. i hear my name and the word lesbian and other things 24/7 and she isn't giving me ways to stop it she's just nosing more into my stuff what i do. i want to stop having this but she's not realizing i really need her to help. i have dependence issues to the point that i cry at my girlfriend and others when they want to leave me alone. i'm terrified to be alone and i get scared by it so much. i'm scared of shouting and banging but i have a rather bad temper myself and that confuses me but i get so scared of it that i just want to lash out and get away from the anger of others. i have developed a twitch in my eye and my head tics sometimes when i'm nervous or scared and i really don't know what to do. has anyone got any advice? thank you so much

I'm worried about you as much as I am irritated by the ignorant comment made by the church here.
Dear father, millions of happy people on Prozac cant be wrong, hundreds of strictly scientific trials cant be wrong...i'll tell you what can be wrong: a misguided ignorant minister.
yes indeed, soul exists and religion can heal soul by implanting positive beliefs helping the patient to overcome his or her disability, but this cant by any means undermine the role of medicaments in psychiatric diseases.

ranting over, i'd like to attract your attention to the fact that you are paranoid, it's normal to think of your psychiatrist in this way, no matter how persevere she was.
the fact that she's nosing into your stuff means she's working on solving your problem. think of your problem as a closed door of which you had the key once but you lost it somewhere, or more precisely sometime, in your life. your psychiatrist's job is to find the location of that key, tell you about it and encourage you to open the door, because only you can open it.
if you help her search freely then your problem would be solved in no time.

I think you need to change doctors. A psychotherapist or a psychologist might be a better choice. Psychiatrists don't do talk therapy. I think you have some issues you really need to talk about with someone who can help you find understand why you feel the way you do, and help you find some coping skills.

if you feel that your current therapist is not helping then the only answer is to change therapists. just tell her she's sacked and go and find someone else. keep searching till you find the right person for you. good luck.

Change doctors now.

Psychiatrists claim that a person needs a drug to combat their chemical imbalance in the brain which is causing a persons mental disorder. However, the concept that a brain-based, chemical imbalance underlies mental illness is false. It has been thoroughly discredited by researchers and there is no test for imbalances..-Quakery exposed. Please dont waste your time with labels. Disorders dont exist in a biological way, and there is not any test to date that shows it. Psychiatry is conjecture and uses no science whatsoever.

Divorce, father gone, abuse, ignoring can make children grow up with all types of so called "Mental Problems" or turn them into abusers. They are hurt and pass it on. There are many secular docs out there who admit abuse causes false sickness-OCD, BP, Depression, Cutting etc.

"They vote on disorders and then they become diseases" " Its total fraud" -- Dr. Fred Baughman Neurologist

People tear you down to build themselves up- Think about this for awhile. Words are not said to help you at all. Its only a trick to make abusers/parents feel good. This goes for people at school as well.

I can give you counseling, call cps for you, and also give you numbers for help.
