Question: If I wear my contact lenses once a week, will I still have to replace in one month's time?
I know if you wear contact lenses every day for a month you
will have to replace them, but what if you wear them only once
a week?

Contact lenses expire because of their material. Think of it like a carton of milk - it expires because the milk is going bad - even if you don't drink all the milk.

Yes.

The time frame is from when they come out of the sterile packaging. Using them doesn't wear them down, the reason they need to be replaced is that once you open them, they are exposed to microbes, this is true if they're in your eye or if they're in "sterile" contact solution, it's not as sterile as the packaging.

That being said, they will probably last longer than contacts that are worn daily, because there's less opportunity for proteins from your eyes to build up on them, but there isn't any way to determine how much protein is on them at home, so you wouldn't know when they reach a critical point, they wouldn't feel different than contacts that are safe to use.

no, as long as you always clean then well, they can last longer
