It could just be that you worry a lot and it's just who you are, or you may have obsessive compulsive disorder. Some people with OCD tend to worry obsessively about things like death, etc. People with OCD typically worry quite a bit. Or, you may have GAD (general anxiety disorder). If your worries keep you from doing things like being with your family and friends or prevent you from performing everyday tasks, you need to see a psychologist or a psychiatrist and get on treatment/meds immediatley. Best of luck!

please do go to the doctors.Having a baby is hard work and can be an anxious time but if you seek help now when the baby arrives you will get more support you want to enjoy being a mum not worry any more than mum's do normally. When I had my children it was a real turning point you want to go out and show them the world ,go and treat them the sooner you get help the more you can enjoy motherhood.Congratulatins by the way and try not to worry there is help there for and it is amazing how much determination having a baby can give you.Good luck enjoy your baby!

you have a version of agoraphobia, an anxiety disorder thats well understood now, get some self help books on overcoming it
next anxiety/panic attack, breathe deep and slow and disolve any valium type tablet under the tongue
dont bother with a shrink, they dont help much at all, all you need to know is in the self help books

think about getting a dog for company, you will manage the baby well, the fears and panic attacks wont stop you caring for the baby, but do tell the hospital that you have panic attacks

yes it is, i had panic attacks for a while. when i went to the doctor and he gave me xanax it works i dont take them to often just half a pill when i feel like i am getting a panic attack it helps.

that's definitely a severe anxiety disorder. i'd make an appointment with a therapist so you can become stable as possible to be a mother

You know it's gonna be ok :)

to stop your fear u need to face them, not the danger ones the really simple ones
