Im really scared to go to sleep. help!?!

Question: Im really scared to go to sleep. help!?
Its 3:45am now. which wouldn't be a problem if i hadn't gotten like 5 hours of sleep last night. But every time i close my laptop and try and relax. I feel like something is watching me and there are ghosts or something in my room (and yes i do believe in ghosts). it really freaks me out and i cant relax enough to even close my eyes. Even with the light on it doesn't help. My head is pounding and my heart is racing! Is there anything i can do to make this go away!?

Answers:

I used to feel just like this, trust me. I used to be so scared i would sleep in my mums and dads room at 12 years of age, and i felt more relaxed in there. I think i felt these feelings because i had watched horror movies, and crime documentrys at such a young age. After a while i grew out of it, and now i'm absolutely fine with sleeping in my own room (although, i do like my door open).

A couple of tricks is to go to bed early when the rest of your family's still awake, it's helps. Also, if your doctor prescribes them, get you some mild sleeping tablets which will help you relax and drop off. try to stop watching so many scary films/documentrys as well. You could try reading a good book to take your mind of it and help you go sleepy. if you are in that sate where you can't go to sleep, just close your eyes and think about something different, or count, and you'll fall to sleep without realising.

Hope this helped:)

I've experienced this!

same happened to me and sometimes still does. Have you lost someone you loved and were close to? You may feel like these people are jealous of you because you're living and they're in the afterlife but remember they're helping you through life. I lost someone very close to me but I now believe they're guiding me through life. To all that don't believe in ghosts... SHUT UP!! One of my friends saw a ghost but it didn't harm her and told her not to be scared. That the ghost was there to protect her. My friend was sort of freaked but now she says that the ghostly woman seems to be a part of her life and she feels the woman's presence but actually likes it because it shows she is being helped and guided. My friend has no idea who the woman is though.

Maybe you lost someone like that and you think they're trying to scare you but remember they're not. Talk to pictures of dead people you lost. I find that helps me go asleep.

Hope this helped :P

myself and my friend

I had night like that and i don't know what gets in me i feel likee something gotta touch me on pound on me or that ill hear voices, likek somethings their in the room even I no its notphysicallyy one time i started crying a littlel bcuz of it and i dont know why. I think it will go away inself if not talk to someone mum, doctor.

Can you put a comedy show episode on your laptop and watch and listen to that with headphones? Maybe that or some happy or calming sort of music might help. Also, get a cup of hot water (not too hot obviously) and try sipping that like you would a cup of tea. Good luck.

I know how you feel. I believe in ghost, I mean there has been proof. Anyway, why are you so scared? If they are bad they would have done something already, if they are good then why be scared? I've come to except the fact that there might be ghost in my room.

ghosts don't exist, you're just psyching yourself out
trust me

and if they did, IF(highly unlikely), they would not spend their time trying to scare you
that is just the big screen movie image of ghosts which is just an exageration In order to get more viewers

O_O RUN! RUN! THEY ARE AFTER YOU. THE SPIRITS WILL COME TO GET YOU. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE OR WHEN YOU NEXT CLOSE YOUR EYES THEY WILL GRAB YOU AND DRAG YOU DOWN WITH THEIR VOICES SCREAMING IN YOUR EARS O_O!

Try reading for awhile, it'll help you take your mind of those sorts of things. Eventually you'll just get so tired you'll fall asleep.

go to your moms room tell them u feel something strange!
