Having trouble sleeping?!

Question: Having trouble sleeping?
I am 13, almost 14 and ive been having trouble sleepong at night for over a month. I always wake up from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM on weekends, weekdys, or vacations. I wake up at 6:30 everyday for school. I get tired in the day, but I manage fine. My real problem is falling asleep. I can't focus on sleeping and i cannot get comfortable. It takes 1-2 hours to fall asleep usually.

At least once a week I wake up at night. Is this insomnia?

No. It happens to me a lot, and the doctor told me if wasn't insomnia. He said there's this thing in your body, and as you become a teenager, the thing tends to not make you fall asleep as easy.

Just don't eat anything three hours before bed, and stay away tv screens, cell-phones, and computer screens as well. Because the screens will make you more awake. Also, try listening to a ipod/mp3. Make a playlist with songs that aren't loud and are soft. That really helps me :)

I wouldn't say insomnia
but do you have tests now? or problems at school or at home?
I think it's mainly stress.
before you go to bed , how about a glass of warm milk ( it actually helps) and maybe listening to some music
if you keep having trouble sleeping you should consult a doctor
hope this helped :)

Normall.:) Happens to me all the time. Maybe you need some new pillows. Or maybe your mattress is getting a little old and its time for a new one. I normaly listen to music before i go to bed, it helps me fall alseep, easily. Whenever I'm at a friends house i always sleep with a fan on low, maybe you should try that. And an old fashioned way is drinking warm milk before bed!
