Question: I cry for no reason and their are days when I just want to stay in bed and sleep?
is this depression I have not got anyone close to talk to what should I do. I am 28 and I am getting no where in my life eg boyfriend job, family, advice please

It does sound like depression to me. I would see your Doctor as soon as you can and describe all the symptoms to him.

There are medications he can prescribe. I'd also join a forum for people with depression. That really helped me. Talking to people who know just what it is like to be having a bath and then start sobbing you heart out for no good reason, or the monumental task of getting out of bed some mornings is something that many non suffers just cannot understand.



Sounds like depression to me. I have been there and done that too. All I want to do was sleep and I did cry for no apparent reason. I ended up going going to a psychtrist and it turned out that I was definately in a depression. He put me on some medicine and boy, did it work! You are so young to be having these symptoms and I highly suggest to seek out a phyciatrist (they give meds) and a pycologist is one that you talk out problems to find out the source of the depression. I've done both and it really helped me out.

Hi, try write down your problems, it gets it off your chest, not good to bottle things up, helps keep things in perspective. Also please go to your doctor and ask to speak to a counsellor, somebody outwith family and friends to speak to.

I also suffer with depression, I know it's not easy, I get that I can't face talking to people and shut myself away. (also a whole load of other stuff which I won't go into). Depression is absolutely horrible, Try Ginkgo Biloba, buy from pound shops and from Simply supplements, vitamins direct, (online) also I take Omega 3 and Vitamin B12 which seems to help. I really do know what's it like and thought these suggestions might help you.

If you type into Yahoo or Google Ginkgo Biloba (or Herbal Remedies for Depression) you will see that alot of people use it to take the edge off depression. I think I would be worse if I didn't take it.

I myself have been fighting an on & off again battle against depression for a long time. I know exactly how u feel & sympathize with you. My suggestion is to see a Doctor & explain to him/her about this. They will help you rind a way to beat this problem. Counseling helps as well as some types of medications that help against depression. Try to do things that u like to do to distract yourself from thinking about your situation. what is vitally important is to choose your healing route- for this problem ----- carefully from good information—that means knowing druggs/meds treatment for this can/will be damaging to your mind and body .drugs only mask the symptoms they do not cure.

This info well –it will save ---years of suffering = if you apply it ..

All treatment recommended by the doctors should be tested and approved and quite rightly so.
That makes sense
It costs millions of pounds to test and approve just one treatment.

Drug companies pay for most testing and will only and I mean only look at treatments, which show the promise of good deal of a profit, --they will actively dismiss any therapy which does not have profit potential— thus your doctor will only recommend therapies that have been tested with profit potential in them.

1,get someone to massage your back and legs at least 3 times a week use peanut oil or a mix of 50-50 olive and peanut oil.

3.get a tent sleep out side 3times a week utilising earth energy - nature can help big time especially with how you feel how much energy you have

7 be amongst people who are giving, friendly who have time for you who love you , choose your friends well . choose your company well.

16 hugs get plenty of them in your daily life you would be amazed at how people feel after a few decent hugs.== find a big tree and hug that.

A total cure however is tied up with karma so you can imagine just how important is the voluntary work. The more u do the better u will feel .

perhaps consult a doctor, i know when most people are told that they sort of shrug it off, but what you may need is someone to talk to, and a doctor can refer you to someone.

Hi, How often does this happen? These are symptoms of period's. You feel really depressed and useless, tired and moody. Often your emotion's are uncontrollable often on your period. Visit your PG.
