Is Seroquel good for anxiety? & safe?!

I have taken Seroquel and I would never take it again. Not only did it give me nightmares it sedated me so badly I couldnt even lift my arms when I woke up. Then I looked at the prescribling info for what it was for and it turns out its prescribed for Schitzophrenia. My doctor told me it would be good for my nerves because it turns a lion into a lamb but I refused to keep taking ANY medication for schitophrenia. It should not be prescribed for anxiety at ALL!! I think its terrible doctors can prescrible it for that. One can only imagine the side effects OR the damage done to a brain that isnt schitzo. DONT TAKE IT take something prescribled for anxiety NOT schitzophenia. I wish you well. PS It was prescribed to me for severe anxiety! I told the doctor I will NOT take a psycho medication for ANXIETY and I got a new prescription for an ANTI ANXIETY med................ya have to be careful what doctors prescribe ..........
