Do I have a learning disorder?!

Question: Do I have a learning disorder?
So I never thought I had a problem with school, just that I was unfortunate. But recently, someone told me that I might have a learning disability.

Here's why: I do all my work, stay after school almost everyday and stay up passed 1 am doing work almost on a nightly basis, yet I am close to having to take a 5th year of high school. I've failed numerous classes, some of which were VERY easy for other students, and I haven't seem to made any progress in my grades, despite committing more and more time to school each semester.

The semester I am in right now is my worst of my high school career so far, but I have spent more time studying and doing school work now than ever before. I've pulled multiple all nighters just doing school work. My favorite subject is Math because it is so exact, but it is my lowest grade by far, a 24 out of 100.

I never really thought I had a problem until someone brought it to my attention that I might be mentally handicapped when it comes to school. I always gave people the excuse that I didn't know why I failed and so they called me lazy, which I absolutely hate when they say that.

I need this problem solved quickly!!! I am a Junior as of now and my grades are keeping me from applying to colleges and getting a job. Would anyone say I have a problem or recommend me for anything?

I wouldn't say it's a learning disorder, no.
BUT, don't you think the fact that you're staying up past 1am could play a part in you struggling with work? You must be shattered at school- you can't learn nor concentrate when you're tired.
It could take any Tom, Dick or Harry to say you've got a learning disorder, but I think a lack of sleep could play a big part in this problem.
And with the math grade, I've been getting low marks on my recent tests as the work's hard- but staying up in the early hours definitely wouldn't help me. A little recapping now and again is all it takes.

you need to talk to your school counselor about this and see if you can be tested. if it shows that you are indeed learning disordered you can receive extra help through the special school district to hopefully help you to pass your grade and graduate when you are supposed to. both of my grandchildren are in this program right now and it has been a big help to them.
