I want to try out for this solo in my chorus, should I?!

Okay so I wasn't really nervous about trying out for this solo part for one of the songs we're singing in choir, but then I got a small rash like cold soar :/ it's pretty light and you can't see it since I take a pill to get rid of it continuously even when I don't have cold soars and I've been putting abreva on it and when I go to school I put concealer on it and you can't even see it. Since I'm aware of it I feel self conscience :/ should I still try out for this solo regardless of this little cold soar? (btw I've coped recently with social anxiety.)
