Fake Psyciatric Illness for a divorce?!

Question: Fake Psyciatric Illness for a divorce?
Mkay well, I asked this question before but people got the wrong idea.
My parents are married, have been for about, 12, 13 years?
Well, my mom is in the mental hospital along with my brother for different reasons.
My mom: a series of events, She is addicted to facebook and doesn't enjoy life. She hates my dad literally hates him. AND she also said to my father two things that have left me scared of her ever since then. a) Do you realize someones gonna die b) Im gonna kill you and bury your *** in the back yard.
She has faked all of this to get out of the house. She does it every 6 months.
My brother went into the hospital for smoking weed. That's another story.
My dad has to go to court to talk to a judge to see where my mom is going. It's either she comes back home or he pays 500 every month for her to live in an apartment.

My question for you is how do you detect someone faking a psychiatric illness?
10 easy points

Answers:

Wow, your mom sure is taking the hard way to get a divorce, and your dad must be a very patient man to put up with this. Without knowing your mom, I have to say she very well may have some sort of illness because with what you said about her she could be bipolar, or something. I really don't know.

To detect a mental illness, typically, a person will show the same symptoms most, or all, of the time, not just every 6 months or so as your mom does. If she's addicted to Facebook, you have to understand hundreds of others are also, so that's not much to worry about. Still, it will have to be whatever her doctor says about her illness, if she has one, about whether or not she's faking (as far as the divorce goes).

This may not be of much help to you. Maybe keep a secret journal of your mom's daily routine and activities, and her attitude, to try to prove she's faking.

Just my thoughts.
