What do you think of this email I sent to Chifley College in regards to bullying!

Question: What do you think of this email I sent to Chifley College in regards to bullying?
Chifley College,
I'm writing to you today to voice MY opinion on the matter of bullying.
Reinstate Casey Heynes, why? He was using what is called SELF DEFENSE. You know, where someone defends themself if they consider their personal being in a dangerous predicament? Your "spokeswoman" said that "the school does not tolerate any violence and deals with all cases according to its community-agreed discipline code."
Maybe if your schools (anywhere from year one, all the way up to the college ranks) actually paid attention to the students instead of just punishing them, you MIGHT just get somewhere. I guarantee you that not one counselor at the school helped either the attacker or the victim. Let me ask you this, WHERE EXACTLY WERE YOU when the fight was going on? WHO DID ANYTHING TO PREVENT this from going on?

What Casey did, was brave, and it shows that he has self-discipline and restraint. He could've just hit the kid right away, but no, he kept his cool. Then he decided enough was enough and defended himself. Did you know, that if someone throws the first punch, you are BY LAW, ALLOWED to call it self defense and stand up for yourself. What if the kid thought his life was in danger? To a victim of a bully, every part of their well being is in danger. Albeit a mental or physical danger, there is SOME HARM done.

Bullying leads to depression, which leads to a decline in schoolwork completion, and attendance. Kids skipping school because they don't want to be there to avoid being attacked by a bully. Or how about this? Maybe they're also bullied outside of school grounds, at home? Totally different scenario, but why not COUNSEL or HELP the victim instead of just suspending them for standing up for themselves?

Put yourself in Casey's shoes. If nobody else was around, you had someone video-taping you and insulting you, and your back was against the wall being punched, there is no way, no way that you would not try and defend yourselves. You should all be ashamed.

Answers:

I emailed them a few days ago as well on this matter.
Heres what I said:
To whom it may concern of Chifley College Dunheved Campus,

I have some requests, and questions regarding the incidents that have recently taken place at your school regarding two students; Ritchard Gale and Casey Heynes.
I do not think I am mistaken in their names or what happened between them. They were fighting at your school.

Ritchard was bullying Casey, and begin hitting him. Casey proceeded in an act of self-defence toward Ritchard and then walked away.

It has been brought to my knowledge that Casey was indeed suspended for this act. This shows a very large amount of misconduct from the administration of your school.
Your website shows that you clearly have a strict Anti-bullying policy, present here:http://www.dunheved-h.schools.nsw.edu.au/sws/view/2568.node

However, Ritchard was clearly bullying Casey, there was what looks like to be a teacher standing in the background watching them and doing nothing to stop them.
Only a small number of people saw what had actually happened.
There is proof of what actually happened in this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pA4XxRiEAn4

This video has constantly been removed from Youtube but users are trying to keep it up as evidence for what really happened.
Here is also another place you can find the video, hopefully without it getting removed as quickly:

This video is going viral on the internet as I type to you. Many many people are watching, and agreeing, that
Casey was wrongfully suspended.
