I've just been diagnosed with aspergers?!

Question: I've just been diagnosed with aspergers?
bipolar II along with ADHD and OCD, I have been out of work for two years as a result of this and have filed for ssi disability and have been turned down and I'm awaiting a hearing before an administrative law judge. Do you think my chances are good that I'll be approved?

Answers:

Do you have someone representing you? If not then the chances are pretty slim due to the fact that people can live normal productive lives with those certain disorders. When it's a mental disorder it has to be something pretty serious to get the judges attention. I got my disability before a law judge and here's what to expect. Lots of questions. It will feel like he's bombarding you needlessly but he's just doing his job. There will also be someone there with knowledge and a book with every possible job in your state. If you're able to do even one of those jobs, you'll be denied. If you are denied, get a rep. The ruling can be appealed and social security can be sued if it has to go that far. Good luck
