Question: Anyone up at this time? I cant sleep and dont know what to do..?
I was just wondering what I could do if I cant sleep 3 in the morning....? Any advice?

I haven't been able to sleep well for months...ever since I left my abusive husband. Even as bad as he was to me I still miss the company - notice I didn't say I missed him. :)

I have a good friend I talk to when I can't sleep. He is a night owl and he always welcomes my call, but there is only so much we can talk about, you know?

So, I piddle around on the Internet until I get tired. Sometimes I read, sometimes I pray. I try not to eat. What else is there to do?



Try to not think of anything, actually trying to not think will only make you think more so it won't work. Generally I think that there is not too many natural means toa allow you to fall asleep. Even those sleeping pills aren't good for you. I would suggets making getting up, maybe have a light snack or watch a show for a few minutes. That might make you feel tired more. i would avoid jumping around or doing anything to physical as that might get your blood running and might actually wake you up more.



Yeah honestly smoking green works the best by far....but if that's not available what ever you do dont get into things on the internet or you will be up all night before you know it...getting your kitty or Digg to lay with you always helps me a lot... Masturbation does help a lot... Sleeping pills can work... Eating a lot of something with no carve or sugar helps a ton....and picking one specific thing to think about works too like how much you love someone in your family



Melatonin is best for sleep. It relaxes you, and it's natural.
If it is just tonight you can;t sleep , take some deep breaths and Relax your body,sipping some chamomile tea is good..
hope you get to sleep soon....i have insomnia and i don't usually get to sleep before 3 am :(



What helps for me sometimes is relaxing in a comfortable position, take slow, deep, steady breaths and count them in your mind. Soon you'll notice they get farther apart and before you know it, you're sound asleep. Hope this helps



I have trouble sometime as well, what I do is stop thinking so much and relax and listen to some soft music. if that doesn't work I take some sleep aid lol

Warm milk releases chemicals in the body to make you sleepy also constant sounds fans and cool environment good luck



Reading in bed usually works for me.



are you sleeping in the day.reading.read something that is boring.



Try reading a book. You'll dose off.



drink milk
read a book, it slows down your heart and tires you out
