How do I tell my mom I want to go see someone who can figure out what's wro!

Question: How do I tell my mom I want to go see someone who can figure out what's wrong with me?
For 3 years I've been dealing with self-harm, depression, suicidal thoughts, etc. My mom never really noticed it. For about a year or two I've started to show signs of borderline personality disorder and/or schizophrenia. I know it's unlikely and really stupid to self diagnose but I still want to get help from someone. And since my mom doesn't know anything about it, how should I tell her?
There's a psychiatric hospital not far from here and there's a free 24 hour clinic you can go to and they'll help, but I have no idea what to tell my mom. Every time I've tried to bring it up to my mom before she'll tell me it's just "hormones". I know it's more than that but I have no idea how to tell her.
Please help.

There's several options. Honestly, I would tell someone else if I were you. Tell someone like a school nurse or counselor. Say you're self injuring and say you are suicidal and really worried about your safety. They'll try to help you, trust me. Or call a crisis response number and see what they say. Call the clinic even, they may speak to your mom.

Otherwise, be one hundred percent honest with your mom. Every single detail. Show her your self injury wounds, tell her your plans, and say you NEED TO GO. Keep pushing it. If not, tell someone else like your school. I'm sorry but it's crap your mom is ignoring your needs and pretty downright disrespectful. I'd be telling someone else.

I went to the mechanic yesterday... He changed my oil.
