How to deal with my anxiety?!

Question: How to deal with my anxiety?
I suffer really bad anxiety. I woke up feeling awful this morning and pretty much slept all day. I got up at around 3pm and now I'm back to feeling worry/panic again.
I'm allowed to do my school work from home because of my anxiety, but even though I can't concentrate in lessons in school, I'm worried I'm going to fail my exams in summer. I know this is irrational because I AM motivated to study at home and WILL go over the whole syllabus. What should I do?
As long as I work this weekend could I take tonight off?
Thanks. x

First off, take a deep breath. Anxiety is hard but many people around the world have it, so you're not alone. Don't worry about your exams, that just puts more on your plate. Summer is a while away, and If you study from just a little bit each day you'll do perfectly fine. There's a lot of things you can do to relieve stress. And right now you might be saying I AM NOT STRESSED! WHAT IS THIS PERSON TALKING ABOUT?!?! but sometimes our subconcious mind is and we just don't know it. So first off think of things that make you happy. It could be taking a walk or maybe talking to a friend. Make a list of those things and decided which one you should do to take your mind off of being nervous. Other techniques you could do is breathe. You can do it in counts or just take a deep breath. If you wish to do it in counts alls you need to do is breathe in through your nose for about five counts, then hold it for five counts, and then release through your mouth for about ten. You can do this as much as possible, and breathing of course is good. lol. Another thing you could do is listen to music. A lot of people say it's calming so just go on youtube or plug in your headphones and relax. Those are just a few ways. If it's really getting to the point where it's hard to do anything you may want to talk to your doctor, and maybe suggest to see a therapist. Don't be embarressed, because it's nothing to be ashamed of. Either way everything will be okay, and God bless :)
