Question: I got 19 hours of sleep and I'm still really tired?
Could it be from getting too much sleep or is it something else? Ty.

Getting more than enough sleep will generally make you feel tired or even exhausted. 7-10 hours with (possibly) a 20 minute nap during the day would give you the maximum amount of energy from sleep.

Nineteen hours sleep is a lot, it could mean you're depressed, but if it's a one-off, I doubt it. As others have said, too much sleep makes you even sleepier. Try to stay awake until your usual bedtime so that your sleep patterns don't become irregular.



That does not sound healthy, but it may not be as bad as it seems. Sometimes when I dream a whole lot while I am asleep, I feel like I did not get any sleep at all. If you start feeling tired all of the time, you may check with your doctor. Mono makes you tired.



You could be groggy from too much sleep.

The concern is not that you are still feeling tired. The concern is that 19 hours of sleep is excessive. It suggests that you are depressed. Please talk to your doctor.



I've heard that the more you sleep, the sleepier you get. too much or too little sleep is bad, you have to have just the right amount wich i guess is 7-8 hours.
