How do I cope with relationship anxiety?!

Question: How do I cope with relationship anxiety?
Im 19, I have been with my boyfriend since the beginning of January. He is a great guy, the best boyfriend I have ever had! However,I cant shake these obsessive thoughts that tell me to break up with him. I cannot stand it! I do not want to think this way. The little doubts I have about us grow very fast into a panic attack and I have bad anxiety 24/7 about this. I have general anxiety disorder, but I do not take medication for it right now, what should I do? I want to feel secure again with him and shake this monster in my brain

Answers:

I felt like I was reading myself here, I have been with my boyfriend for four years, and I have the same exact problem. So I can completely understand how you are feeling! It's a very hard thing to over come, I always try to focus my attention on the thing we do for eachother. The connection we share. Try to think of the good things in your relationship. Also, sometimes, when I'm feeling like that I just go take a bath for et some time by myself, try to clear your mind, just see only you, then your able to go back to your relationship with a fresh thought and when your happy with yourself you can enjoy life, and not worry about the anxiety, only you and your boyfriend.

By not focusing on it as much as you are.
