Am I depressed again? (serious answers)?!

Question: Am I depressed again? (serious answers)?
Okay, I get sad and upset frequently even over nothing. They last less than a day but just frequent. I mean I don't think about killing myself. I've gone through depression before when I did think about it, but I never actually talked with someone to get help at the time because I was still pretty young. I'm afraid of going back...what should I do? is it back?
It's hard to cheer myself up and I tend to get annoyed and upset when people do. Again, should I be more worried and get some help?
I still consider myself a child so I just don't know what else to do 'cept to ask "the community"
It's just like a kind of melancholy mood. But what worries me is that all of my sadness is in my head. My life is fine but my mind still keeps making up stuff for me to be sad about and it tortures me sometimes...But what's worse is that being sad just seems to calm me down from being an already stressed person. This worries me...Just advice would help please!

The fact that you took this so serious as to ask it online proves one of two things:
1. You actually are depressed. If this is the case, even if it is extremely small, you should talk to someone you trust. It may be embarrassing, but one moment of embarrassment before they help you is better than a lifetime of sadness.
2. You are a drama-oriented person and you are feeling sorry for yourself, trying to get attention, or just being overly dramatic about situations. If this is the case, then just stop being so emotional over things, let 'em go, and get out there and do your best to enjoy life.

Based on what you wrote, I think it's number 1, as it's not written overly dramatic, but 2 is there just in case. Either way you should talk to a loving person you trust. It'll take a weight of your shoulders and you will feel so much better.

^Update^ A counselor is a good choice. Make sure you can get along with them good (Most are very friendly and people-oriented). Then just tell them what's botherin' you and you'll be on your way to feeling better soon. I hope I helped. Good Luck :)
