Am I OCD? Or whatt..?!

Question: Am I OCD? Or whatt..?
I'm 15 and I sometimes look at my mom and think in my head about if she died or when she died, what I would do. Same for my father and brother. I sometimes imagine someone breaking into my house at night or something and I worry .

(am I just watching TOO MUCH scary movies or what?) but I haven't seen scary movies recently. I don't have any obsessions. And I'm VERY disorganized and have short memory . I read OCD symptoms and is it possible that to have it, ALL symptoms do not have to occur?

Answers:

no i don't think you have OCD...people who have OCD tend to be extremely orgainized and have to do certain things repetetively like flipping a light switch a certain number of times and other things need to be in order in strange ways that seem unusual to the rest of us. It sounds like u have some type of anxiety disorder...I worry about losing my loved ones too, and yes I worry about break ins and accidents too. I would see a psycologist or talk to a friend or family member about this. Good luck

Peace and love,
Absterbabe
