Could my current actions lead me into cutting?!
Question: Could my current actions lead me into cutting?
I'm a girl in my freshman year of high school.
Recently, there has been a lot of stress regarding my home life and academic life.
I noticed that whenever I argue with my mom, I dig my nails into my left wrist, so hard that it leaves grooves, which then turn into little moon-shaped red bumps.
I've also began to snap a rubber-band on my wrist (always the left).
I was wondering if these self-destructive tendencies could lead to me cutting myself, and if there's anything I can do to prevent that from happening
Oh, I also used to suffer from a form of OCD, Trich. (which is compulsive hair pulling)
Thanks in advance.

These are minor pains, easy to withstand. I talked with a self-harmer and I foolishly believed that it doesn't hurt as much and I even wanted to try it with a knife. Then I remembered how it hurts if you cut while shaving and I realized what a fool I would be if I would try it myself. I would get a wakeup slap! Lol :D
I wouldn't worry about it but these things can turn into something bigger.
