Question:
Was woken up in terror?
This morning around 7:45am I was woken up by an extremly intense, loud deep bass rumble and was immediately in terror without a reason. This lasted about 30 seconds, meanwhile I'm feeling very heavy pressure all over my chest area, plus I couldn't move, as if some kind of force was holding me down and in place. I started to panic and tried to scream for help but I couldnt get a sound out because of the immense pressure. Once again it felt like I was being held down, then finally the bass rumble slowly vanished and I started to pass out as if I was either in relief or was knocked out (because of the pressure on my lungs maybe?) and was completely aware of what just happened in my mind while I was blacked out. No one else in the house heard the bass rumble noise. When I woke back up (alarm clock 15 minutes later) I was pretty sore on my right side of my back and waist.
Was this a panic attack during my sleep?
Answers:
It's called "Sleep Paralysis"...you're not alone. Take some time to read up on it. I think you're ok.

well if no one else could hear the music or what ever ide say there could be a chance you could get psychosis or have a bit of it. I hear voices of people talking and hear music and feel stuff touch me that shouldnt be there, its psychosis, maybe you have a bit too
i also once felt paralyzed after hearing a voice yell out something at the top of his voice that wasnt really there but only for like 10 seconds and couldnt even talk either when i tryed to call for help
hope that helps
