Every time I see my ex's name on facebook I can feel a panic attack coming?!

Question: Every time I see my ex's name on facebook I can feel a panic attack coming?
My boyfriend and I broke up last night and now every time I log onto facebook or look at my phone and see his name I can feel a panic attack coming, in my whole life before yesterday I had only had 3 and now just since yesterday iv had about 3-4(all minor take only 2 mins or so), should I got to a doctor about it or talk to a shrink or something? it's really starting to scare me

Answers:

That is normal. You are reviewing your memories. use this simple but powerful exercise; anytime you feel like that again say that phrase: THIS ALSO PASS like i gave up last day. If you do not feel comfortable to say it, then, turn back to your soul mate

It's probably too much to deal with at the moment so just block him or don't log on. I have made a promise to myself never to add guys that I date to my friends list as I end up stalking them & I do have better things to do with my time. It's also hard and uncomfortable when you break up.

Seriously how old are you? Get over it.. he broke up with you LAST NIGHT. You need a few days. You don't need to go to a doctor for a teenage breakup. Toughen up, because your whole life is going to be filled with moments that are disappointing like this one.

Facebook: Block him
Phone: Delete his number

Delete his number, his facebook, etc.

No, just don't go on Fb for a week. It will subside. It's like putting salt in an open wound, only you're doing it to yourself...

why is that
