Question: I have a friend who recently had sex for the 1st time. Shes sad. What can I do To Help?
She had sex for the 1st time oh about a few months ago now. And she is very sad now. She regrets it fully. She says she wasn't ready. What can I do to help her get over it. And overall just not feel bad about her self now, and in the future. BTW: Shes 14 and I'm 15. Shes been sad for months and doesn't seem to want too move on. I'm texting her now about it. Also it WASN'T me she had sex with.

Answers:

Tell her she's not alone. We are all humans and we make mistakes. We LEARN by making mistakes. What's done is done and she can't do anything but leave the past behind. Think about it, she won't make this mistake again. Support her and let her know that she is not alone. And as time goes by she'll heal. If she doesn't move on give her time but be supportive. Others have gone through worse. Tell her to at least give the positive side of life a try. Please tell her I said this. -Selina

And also, sex is something natural. The most natural thing in life. There is nothing wrong with it.
We just make it seem bad.

Although it seems weird it isn't. Having sex around 14 was the simplest thing a little time ago, I even have a friend who lost his virginity while he was 14. Having sex does change a life sometimes but it isn't affecting her future. As long as you keep it away from twitter and the adults she will be fine. Try to confince her that it doesn't matter , it ain't that big of a deal and she will be fine. At least if she had safe sex. but even then if the guy she hooked up with was also a virgin she won't have any STD.
