hi. i'm 35. i was like this when i was doing my gcse 's too. my mum was also a real bully like this. atleast i thought she was a bully at that time. i was very stressed and wished and wished i could change things the way i want. well after all these years looking back i realise that things dont make much of a difference. there is always a new issue or different issue. you may think that this is the worst period in you life but sorry to tell you this - there is more to come!! anyway my advice is your parents are hiding your consoles because they want you to study? why ? because to face the challenges in the future you need money and stability and one of the easiest ways is to find a stable job and to find a stable job it is easier if you have a good education. your parents and you are not having good communication - so they are trying to help you the best way they can. try to think of the whole thing in a more mature way. remember that your gcse's are not for ever. you have to pass all these exams to get educated. i know this sounds sick but what to do. this is life. so try not to get addicted to games, try not to provoke your parents, try if you can to speak to them or forget it because sometimes talking to parents is difficult i know and try to remember that you will leave home and be by your self one day and then you can play all the games you want and need not be depended on anyone. good luck!

my life experience

All parents think they know what's best for their child but they really do not know. The most important key to a successful life is communication. Allow yourself some quiet time away from the Ipod. Ask your parents for a sit down conversation of how your life seems to be going. Let them be aware of what you're stresses may consist of and remember parents cannot read your minds. Some parents aren't aware of what their overprotecting nature is doing to their children. If this works than a majority of your stress will be lessen but not forgotten.

Tell them that your really stressed out and taking your system away is making it worse along with that you'll learn one way or another.

really, you need to get your work done before you start using what you have. A break every once in awhile isn't bad, but make sure you get your stuff done.

right^ up above me.

tell them you sre stressed out and want to do well but need some relaxing activity time each day and that it relaxes you (if it indeed does) or find something else to do that relaxes you
