Question: How do mothers know when her teen son is fantasizing about mom?
Now here is the kicker that scared me straight. I never gave my mom any reason to believe that I was attracted to her. However, one day she came and sat next to me, put her arm around me and said "son, i know what you are going through right now as a teen and it's ok and it will pass". "Mom is telling you this because she loves you...now go find yourself a girlfriend" she said as she smiled at me.
I was scared to death. I did not ask her what she was talking about or anything. It stopped me in my tracks. From that day on I only had a few sexual thoughts about her.
WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS: how can a mother sense that her teen son is fantasizing about her? To this day, it boggles my mind and would not dare ask her after all of these years.

I'm pretty sure what she told you is the standard mom speech about "the talk". It's possible that she knows, and it's possible that she doesn't. But from what I can tell, she's cool with it. It's hard not to be embarrassed, but right now your hormones are rampaging through your body, so you're not really to be blamed. it's very possible that you took this the wrong way. she could have just been making a comment on your sex drive in general.
Also, if you were louder masturbating and called out "mom" or something, she may have heard you and figured it out there.
