Diamond kite materials?!

Question: Diamond kite materials?
I have to make and fly a kite in Geometry class and i'm wondering what the best materials would be to use?? Thanks!

Answers:

The most common materials are thin hard paper, string, and long thin sticks with a long thin piece of cloth for a tail. The sticks are crossed at or near the center, a string is run through notches in the ends of the sticks all the way around the outside and the paper is cut to fit with 1" or so flaps that fold over the string and are glued down Purchased kits already have the string glued around the tail.
A string is tied across the width (or diagonal if a diamond) to bow one stick into a curve for stability, the tail attached to another corner and the flying string is tied to a yoke which is a short piece of string tied to the unbowed stick near the tail and top that allows adjusting the angle of attack depending on where the flying string is tied to the yoke
