Question: What can I do when I am depressed instead of comfort eating?
Yep. I'm one of those people that can't stop eating when I can't handle things. I'm if I keep doing it I am going to get fat and that will just make things worse. So what can I replace this with?

I think you should read, read a really good book. My favorite is Just Don't Fall by Josh Sundquist. It's really funny, addictive, and inspiring. Stranger With My Face by Lois Duncan is great also, it's about astral projection, something no one really knows about, so learning it is cool.

Instead of comfort eating, chew gum. That's what I do.

I also think you should do something like babysitting a kid around seven years old. I say seven because they always need you, and they're really cute and funny. They make me happy, so maybe that will help you. So with the kid, you're usually too busy to eat or be too depressed.

I had the same problem, too.



Writing your feelings on paper, and ripping it up later if you don't want people to read it. It's helps for me to keep a journal of some sort, so whenever I have negative feelings, I take it out on the page instead of on myself.

any form of exercise this actually endues endorphins and makes you feel happier. Get your fave music on and up loud.



i try reading or if you need to do something with your hands knitting or crocheting are good(i know they are dorky, but it works!)



singing and dancing to your favourite music
