is it normal to never want to live your child without feeling sad?!

Question: Is it normal to never want to live your child without feeling sad?
I find it very hard to leave my 8 month old daughter when I go to work. When I do I feel so sad, cause I never know what's going to happen to me when I leave her. Whenever I go out SHE HAS to be with me, like I can never leave her at home for someone to watch her like if I go to the store or something. I know that I shouldn't act like this cause in life you're gonna have to leave your childs side every once in a while, but it's very hard for me. Another reason is cause I suffer from depression and anxiety quite a bit and that's my only sorce of happiness so to speak since me and her father split up. Is this normal behavior?

Answers:

This is all normal. I was so depressed when I had to work when my son was a baby. We finally figured out how for me to go part time. I know as a single mom you probably cannot afford to but I wanted to let you know how normal it is to feel that way. she will cling to you because you are her mother and yes, she values your presence. Make the most of your time together. Is there family to watch her so you can go out to the store without her. I know it is hard to take them everywhere...it takes so long or they get upset and you have to deal with that. You don't get a break. Good luck. I promise this will all change. You may still miss her when you go to work but she will grow quickly and things will be better. Been there, done that. Son in college and wish for those days. BUT...enjoy him being like a friend now too. You have a lot to look forward to...just a little overwhelming for now.

Of course it is I might be just 13 but ik what mothers feel lie and they never want to leave their babbys
