Can I drink with an anxiety disorder?!

Question: Can I drink with an anxiety disorder?
I recently found out I suffer from Panic disorder, and was wondering if I can drink in this situation? I've never had problems drinking before, and my panic attacks only really happen with work and other stressful situations.

And I just want to point out I'm not drinking to feel better, or out of depression, I've just been looking forward to this weekend for a long time.

Answers:

Yes, you can drink. However, certain anxiety medications recommend that you don't drink while using them. I'd follow those if I were you.
