Question: How do doctors respond to kids who cut themselves ?
i'll admitt it by the way, i am addicted to cutting. don't tell me to stop and that it's a bad thing to do to myself because i'm most likely not going to stop untill things in my life get better. so don't waste your time typing out some huge lecture.

My mom was with me when I was there- but the doctor basically looked at my arm and asked what happened. It was awkward, and I didn't really say anything, I just went umm.. And she asked if it was cutting. I said yeah and she asked why, I didn't answer. She asked if I did it because I was bored or something. It was really awkward and I wanted her to stop talking about it so I said yeah. She asked if I still have the urge/do cut. I lied and said no. She then dropped it, and continued along. My mom already knew I cut, so I had nothing to loose. I guess it depends if they'll tell, if you say you still cut they may attempt to get you help, or help you seek out a counselor, but I HIGHLY doubt they will send you to rehab or something.
