how can i get my mind off smoking?!


Question: How can i get my mind off smoking?
i quit smoking for nine weeks but i started again because i was stressed and i lost my will power to quit. i have been smoking again for two weeks and i smoked before i quit for 5 years. i really want to try quit agian and this time for good. how can i keep my mind and lungs off smoking? i want to try campax (i think i spelt it wrong) but i am scared of the side affects and i dont have the money to buy it. what can i do to help keep my will power when i get stressed? or even when i just have to have one how can i say NO?

First you need to be certain that you never want to use tobacco again. I found this certainty 17 years ago by reading 'Alan Carrs easy way to stop smoking.'
I dealt with my nicotine cravings by picturing a seplent like creature that lives inside of me. it feeds on nicotine and cigarette smoke. The more you feed it the stronger it gets. The more you deprive it the weaker it gets and it goes to sleep. It can never be killed off completely but you can keep it lying asleep. Even after 17 years at times of severe stress this serpent wakes up and shouts feed me. if I ignore it it goes back to sleep within a few minutes. If I were to feed it it would be wide awake demanding ever more.



Find a girlfriend. Wherever you feel like you need a smoke, have sex with her.



Think about life and what is going on around the world



I'm on the patch, I think they are awesome and take care of the cravings



start drinking...then you'll forget abt smoking..
