Answers:

Hello friend, Since I don't see what gender you are; whether you have a partner or not and whether you are taking drugs or whatever I can only theorise your problem by past experiences. If you can bear with me, it might be because your out of work, not necessarily your fault but it might help you to do voluntary work for a while to keep yourself active and it looks good on your CV. I can't pre-judge you on whether you take drugs ;or not as I do not know you personally.if you are though seek help as soon as you can and be honest with yourself too. On a relationship side, if a boat comes into dry dock ( a partner) don't jump straight onto it as it might sink. Otherwise if you are single get out and meet someone in clubs or other venues. I am not sure whether your taking up driving lessons but if you are be sensible about it as driving cars is like driving a weapon. WEAPONS KILL as do idiots who ignore speed signs etc. I don't know if your living at home whichm ight depress you but if you get time speak to your parents and tell them what your feeling and without being a "stroppy teenager' ask them what they done when they was your age. Don't laugh at them as you might hear of old singers or going to "Rock n roll gigs" as you'll be telling your kids one day what you used to do and they'll laugh at you too. As for being depressed for most of your life, you would not want to swap places with me with the life i have lived in the last SEVENTEEN YEARS. I have served many emotional warfares and too many legal ones too. do yourself the favuor too if you can get into college study hard, study long because one day it will be worth it I assure you.

I'm 27. I had the same problem at your age. I quit school, started drugs and drinking. Problems only got worse. Just try to make the most out of it. fall in love and start your family. Life gets better. Also, there is nothing wrong I'm taking medication. In fact i require Paxil to this day.

Exercise a lot, eat fruits and veggies at least twice a day, and talk to ppl about how you feel. All of these helped me a lot when I had depression.
