how to make a change of view?!

Question: How to make a change of view?
lately i've been depressed...for many reasons...yahoo doesn't gives me enough characters to explain everything...
i don't feel confident anymore...at all...
all the time i'm kind of sad...and...honestly...i'm sick of being sad all the time...but i don't know how to change it...
if i won't change it...not now...bur in another really depressed moment i won't take it anymore...i'm fed up with everything...
last time i've cried...and yeah...i'm a boy...

any idea about how can i change things/me?

Answers:

It IS normal for a boy to cry, don't let anyone tell you that "boys don't cry." Boys do cry, sometimes society tries to tell boys that men aren't "supposed" to cry... that's a lie. It's healthy and normal for a person to cry when they are sad. If you never cried, you would be a robot. Don't feel guilty about crying when you're sad, okay?

I would really encourage you to get into some volunteering opportunities in your community. Volunteering can give you a totally different perspective on life. Helping others helps us, just as much if not more than it helps the people in need. You will feel better about yourself because you're doing something important, and someone else will benefit from your kindness. It's a win-win situation. You could volunteer at a soup kitchen, Ronald McDonald House, a homeless shelter, an animal shelter, a church, wherever you feel like you have an interest and a desire to help.

Aside from that, I would also suggest that you start exercising/working out regularly. Working out releases endorphins in the brain that improve mood, not to mention that working out is good for your body and builds muscle. What guy doesn't want to look more built? It will improve your self-esteem, physical health, AND mood all at the same time. Again, a win-win.

Finally, find someone who you can talk to. I know among guys sometimes it's taboo to talk about your deep personal feelings, but do you have at least one friend who you can confide in? Maybe a girl who is a close friend who you would feel more comfortable sharing emotions with than another guy? Sometimes just talking about how we feel is enough to help us start feeling better, just putting words to those emotions and letting them out. Keeping them all bottled up inside only hurts us. If you can't talk to any of your friends, try talking to your school guidance counselor. They are there to listen, and they won't tell your parents that you talked to them, they can't. As long as you aren't hurting or planning on killing yourself, what you say to the counselor is held in confidence.

Good luck!

The reasons really depends, just cuz your a boy doesn't mean you can't cry.Look at yourself in the mirror,if you see ugly, your wrong remember this even though your not right for a person you want them, you are right for the person you'll end up with

Go out, watch a movie, play games, talk with fam, flirt a little,Trust me even if life is hard your here for as reason..I'm depressed too..sister left at 4 am came back at 12,she had her stomach pumped..but i'm here cuz i have a reason to live and so do you
