Is it depression when you just wan to be left alone, stay in your house, forget !
Question: Is it depression when you just wan to be left alone, stay in your house, forget responsibilities?
Answers:
You can't just sit at home and ruminate about your problems. They simply won't go away and will consume you if you ignore the symptoms that you describe. You need to get some professional counseling. That doesn't "solve" your problems but can give you a new perspective with which to face them. Also, there is a possibility that you are exhibiting signs of depression. There are some great medications available if they become necessary. Please seek professional help. Best wishes
Yes it sounds like depression or stress.
You should tell someone about it/ consult a counselor first.
I hope you feel better and overcome this.

Yes, those are symptoms of depression, but is your depression long-term (many years) or is this a short-term thing because of temporary stress?
Symptoms of depression include:
- Fatigue
- Foggy brain
- Don't want to socialize
- Lack of motivation
- Many more negative thoughts.
- Possible anxiety that lasts more than a day
- Lots of bad dreams
- Being grumpy a lot
- Memory problems
There are many causes of depression:
- Stress from current situations
- Chronic stress from childhood can cause physical changes in the brain
- Heredity
- Low testosterone in men
- Drug use
- Cancer can actually cause changes in the brain and cause depression, even in people who have not been diagnosed yet. (This was a new one for me. But I read several science magazines.)
Some people might benefit from counseling, some people might need medicine. Don't be ashamed to get help. You didn't cause your depression. Just like people with high blood pressure who also take meds, you might need meds also.
