Question: Im 16 and i need help fast has to do with anxiety please hurry?
so im 16 i have been suffering from anxiety and depression since 14 and being anxious is the worst i have really bad attendence at school so they are putting me in nightschool again i have been there before but now its a different semester and there is like only 9 weeks left of school so im going to be the new girl and i hate that because nightschool is usually for like gangbangers and kids who get caught with pot and im not like that so m anxiety is really kickin in i need help

I know of something that works faster than a valum(which is a temp fix anyhow and will just add to your troubles) all you need is........................a piece of paper and a pen.On the paper make two columns(draw a line straight down the middle)the title above the first --"what is the best thing that might/can happen?" and the other columns for-- "what is the worst that might/can happen?" now........think about something that's stressing you and ........write away. Once you're done (here comes the best part..)turn the page over and write down "what is most LIKELY to happen".this will help you keep things realistic (feelings have a way of taking over and clouding a rational persons mind, right) hopefully with this formula you can learn how to anticipate things and not be too anxious. Why is your attendence lousy anyway? strees? hope this helps ,you poor thing.(otherwise .......bulldozer through your feers!)



Being in a hurry creates more anxiety. Being in a hurry is a very anxious state of mind: you are too much worried about tomorrow, too much worried about the future, too much worried about the past. You are pulled in these two opposite directions, the past and the future, and you are worried because you have failed school in the past. You are worried: Who knows? The same may also happen in the future as has happened in the past - nothing. You have not achieved what you want in the past, and it may be that you may not achieve anything in the future by going to nigh school, so you are in a hurry to get help. But just hurry won't help because it disturbs you.

In order to live properly, you have to drop time-consciousness. Simply forget about time, time is always available. It is not like money, it is like the sky - it is always available, you cannot exhaust it, so don't run. You can sit at ease, you can relax, then and only then will it be possible to stop being anxious.



You don't have to be a gang banger or pot smoker to go to night school. If you really apply yourself to your studies you may find that it makes it easier to deal with your depression and anxiety. I am really sorry if your parents have not gotten you some professional help. Perhaps there is a local mental health center in your area that would allow you to come in for counseling.



I have the same problem but im a guy and im 17 .. i've been like this since I was 15, I really have no idea how to get rid of it. I've missed like 30 days of school this year just because of depression/anxiety.
