What does it mean if I've been worrying from a young age?!

Question: What does it mean if I've been worrying from a young age?
It started when I was 6 or 7. I would read the label on the back on the toothpaste and freak out that I was "swallowing the amount used for brushing" and would die. Then when I was 8 I worried that I had cancer. When I was 9 I worried that I was a hermaphrodite and didn't know it (this ones weird I know). I would always worry like that. I still worry all the time! About slightly more rational things now though. How can I stop worrying and why do you think I worry so much?

Answers:

I have the same problem. I'm 22 and I feel like I wasted a lot of time worrying about stuff. Here's the best advice I can give you: Control the things you can control and forget about the rest. Most of us are just 'hanging on by a thread' anyway.

There's lots of totally wreckless people who lived long and decent lives, and there's many cautious, compulsive worriers who die in freak accidents despite all their worrying.

''that mean you care about your future...please be good, not just think but do it..love your health'' i agree with that, but that you're worrying so much might cause you trouble mentally and physically. You might end up destroying your self.
Try take things easy, don't overdo anything to much.

you probably have an undiagnosed anxiety disorder, it's not that uncommon so just try to think rationally and talk to your doctor about counseling or medication

that mean you care about your future...please be good, not just think but do it..love your health
