do i do this because i'm bipolar?!

Question: Do i do this because i'm bipolar?
I love being a people person, being outgoing, and just feeding off of other people's energy. Thing is, i am NOT consistently like this. On other days, i am not a people person at all, in fact i'm shy, quiet, and all around nervous and anxious around people and in social settings. It seems that just depending on the classroom or situation I'm in, how I'm feeling that day etc, tends to have a lot to do with how I'm going to exhibit myself as a person. I really love being comfortable around other people and social settings, and comfortable with myself, outgoing, etc, but i'm not consistently like this and I was wondering why. I'm not just talking I like to talk on some days and i'm a little more quiet on other days...it's like i'm on one extreme end of the spectrum one day and the opposite end the next day . Could I be bipolar or have some other personality disorder? Anybody wanna help me out or point me in the right direction?

Answers:

I'm like that too, I think it's normal. I don't think you have a personality disorder... and besides, personality disorders are over-diagnosed these days...
If you're trying to get diagnosed with something because you're sure you're not normal, think again... is your behaviour making it impossible for you to live like a normal person? Are you really unhappy and in great need of medication?
Drugs ("medication") aren't a walk in the park (most of the time they clear up one problem and create another - like rithaline clears up ADHD but it makes you depressed; and alcohol clears up shyness but it also makes you depressed - and alcoholic).
Anyway........ think about it. I think you're normal. There are good days and not-so-good-days (it could also be your monthly hormone changes!).

No that has nothing to do with Bipolar disorder. Everyone has good days and bad days.. you are perfectly normal.

yeah, bipolar is just a name companies can give you so you'll buy their mood-deadening medicine. just focus on exercise and staying stress free.

You need to find the right meds,

no u are not...you are moody!!
