My younger sister touched me, I'm kinda frightened?!

Question: My younger sister touched me, I'm kinda frightened?
She's actually 8 and I'm 14, she's a half sister and I hardly know her, or her family, or my dad... which were the only people there when It happened. Yea, I am older, But I am very shy and already suffer from rape and other sexual harassment, plus depression and psychosis. We were laying under a blanket and I was showing her how to play this game on a hand held device and she just reached down and said something so perverted for a little girl to say.... "Does it feel good?" All I said back was "No, that's wrong." And pushed her hand away and left the room. Later, every one but me and her were at the house, I was asked to watch her, we both feel asleep and when I woke up my pants were half way down, I know it was her.... Jeans just don't fall down like that, unbuttoned, unzipped, skinny jeans at that. I went home to my mom after they got home and never went back, never talked to my dad or anyone from that side of the family. I didn't tell my mom...... I'm afraid maybe she has been raped or touched before, or just has unhealthy sexual compulsions at such a young age... What should I do?

Answers:

Oh my! I am so sorry to hear! but it is quite possible she was raped or harassed by someone as well.. or she could just be learning about "sexual" things way too early.. you really, really should tell someone about this. you need to tell your mom.. this could be serious! honestly, do not be afraid to tell your mom! that's the good thing to do here. maybe you will find out something about your sister that you didn't know, maybe she WAS raped or touched before... i mean it also could be she has unhealthy sexual compulsions as well.. but maybe there is a reason. but hun DEFINITELY tell your mom about this! Good luck!

Oh dear, she learned that from someone that was touching her. They have convinced her that it's normal and that's why she tried it on you. I'm so sorry, for you and your sister. You absolutely must tell your mother so that your sister can learn what is and is not appropriate and more importantly so that her abuser can be brought to justice. I'm sorry, good luck to you Sweetheart, and your sister too.

Yes, it is pretty likely that she has been abused sexually if she does such kind of things. Next time you are with her ask her to produce a drawing and look if there are any strange/sexual things in her drawing. Very often small children emphasize genitalia in their painting if they have been abused

Do be afraid just tell the whole story to your parents. Keep in mind, hiding a matter with your parents at this stage is a big mistake. So, sit with your mom and share everything exactly you have described here.

A piece of advice for you:
BTW, if you have done anything wrong, do not hesitate to tell your mother. She will guide you in this matter correctly.

Smart? Your punctuation is everywhere so lets not go that far. Sorry, but it is true.
You should talk to her; ask her if she has been "touched" (what you've said leads me to believe that she has as this is not at all normal for an 8 year old). You cannot blame her if she has but you certainly have to deter her from doing this again.

Those seem like very clear signs that she's been sexually abused. You should tell someone. By doing so you could probably prevent it from happening to her again.

She definitely shows signs of sexual abuse. Talk to an adult about it.

You need to tell all the adults. She learned that from someone who is molesting her.

How do you write so articulate for a 14 year old?

My guess is you're an adult. And a very possessed one

I'm girl. As a child a few relatives did some things they shouldn't have done to me. That happened when I was about 4 to 6. At 6 years old, yes that young, I was saying things little girls don't say. I also started doing things like masturbating, speaking of sexual things, peeping on relatives, and telling my friends where "babies" really come from at the ages of 7 - 10. The chances she's being molested, if this is all true, are high.
