Mental Illness, question.?!
Question: Mental Illness, question.?
I was having a conversation with a friend and they said there is a mental illness where:
1. you feel like you are being followed, [by anyone, police, stalker multiple people.]
2. you think people can read your thought.
3. you imagine/ think you live a different life [like you think/imagine you have a friends or celebrities life]
4. you occasionally talk to a imaginary person. [not like an imaginary friend but you think there is a real person there]
this really intrigued me but my friend didn't know what it is called and I really want to know. any idea's?

super star beat me to it. schizophrenia's the answer. there are different variations of this such as borderline personality disorder and disassociative identity disorder (sometimes believed to be fictional). there are many books out there about it, the most famous one being Sybil, who has multiple personalities, and one of my personal favorites The Eden Express by Mark Vonnegut, who actually had quite a beautiful while frightening experience being schizophrenic.
