What difference does it really make?!
Question: What difference does it really make?
Answers:
hi i also used to cut really badly but i came to realise that afterwards it just made me feel even worse and even more angry with myself so in the long run it really was not helping, i know its easier said than done to control the urge to cut believe me ive been there !!!!!,but please you need to stop blaming yourself for being ill and punishing yourself i know at times, i still do it now. Also when you first start antidepressants they can actually lower your mood to begin with, great isnt it please just hang on in there im here if you ever need to chat or vent .
You are not crazy. I went through this in early high school and it cured itself (girls helped alot).
Do get some therapy though.
Try not to cut at all - the risks such as Hep C, Tetanus etc are not worth it.
It may seem to add some colour and flavour to your life but no one likes it and it can be very harmful.
go to ur gp it will be confidential and he can advise you on what to do he can also give you info on free councillors you wont be put into a hospital once your not a risk of suicide you just need to talk to someone
It is best to stop doing this. Instead, put your thoughts and fears into some other form of expression that doesn't leave scars. Call the therapist and share your thoughts. The dosage might take two weeks to kick in, so do your best to hang in there for that time. That other business about being crazy and locked up does not mesh with the reality of the cuts that have been made to any type of live in facility. People are not declared crazy, and the term is no longer used professionally. Maybe, there is a free group in your community that has meetings for others going through this.
