Should I tell my friends I have OCD?!

Question: Should I tell my friends I have OCD?
I have recently been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder but since i was a little girl, I had OCD. My friends did notice my rituals and obsessive checkings but i dont know if to tell them. I dont trust them and i'm afraid they might tell other people. Do you think its something that i should let them know??

Answers:

no. if you dont trust them dont tell em

Hell ya.
No body gives a **** about disorders of other people. Any haters that gossip about it just show how much of an *** they really are. On top of that i find people with disorders to be more interesting.
And yes, if they are not really, really good friends then they will probly leak the information, its just the way of life.

Dont be scared to let others know about something so common as OCD.
;-]

Well if you feel you can't trust them then they aren't good friends :/ I would tell then if you really want to and feel that you can trust them enough with it if you don't want any one else to know

if you don't feel like they can be trusted, then no, don't tell them. If it doen't affect them, why should they have to know?
