Help with Anxiety attacks .?!

Question: Help with Anxiety attacks .?
I feel as if my anxiety is driving me to insanity . I never used to notice every little my body does, when I feel a little pain I think something is wrong . Sometimes I think my heart is stopping or it hurts . I notice my food going down my throat, I notice my heart beating, my breathing . If I don't feel my heart beating I think I'm dead . I have a pair of stethoscopes and I listen to my heart constantly to think I'm okay . I really feel like I can't live like this anymore :/ I'm only 20 years old, and I'm 5 months pregnant . I really feel like I'm going crazy because of my anxiety and I'm scared . Once my anxiety starts I can't come back down, I just keep hyping myself up . Right now I'm having a anxiety attack and its 530am . Nothing triggers my anxiety it just comes and goes when it pleases several times a day . Sometimes I really think I'm dying or I'm having a heart attack . I feel as if this is getting really out of control . I call up consulers and whatnot but they take forever to get back to me, I feel like I need somebody NOW :( what do I do ? Please help me .

Answers:

you have hypochondria, try to remember that every night when asleep, your body and heart manage just fine with no attention or help from you at all,our human body works best when we ignore it

deep slow breathing will reduce the anxiety, do it when a panic attack starts.also relax and accept, dont tense up or fight back

valium as needed will calm you, so will soaks in a hot bath, walking and gentle exercise and, house cleaning
a beta blocker med will calm heart and body but not mind

whats happening now wont harm you but will wear you out so please stop it.for the sake of you and baby

All I can say is do some deep slow breathing, in through your nose and out your mouth. Put on some soothing music and try to sleep. Replace those thoughts with counting your blessings. I would call my primary health doctor first thing in the morning for an appointment. I hope this helps!

Water is a great way to stop anxiety. This blog here helped me.

Go to your doctor, and tell him all of this. If you are seeing a doctor (which you should be if you are pregnant) tell them about your anxiety and how bad it is. It won't go away magically, you need medical help.

Hi just read your question and felt i really needed to reply because i suffer exactly the same i get it less than i used to but at times im convinced im going to die!!!.They way i deal with it eventhough it sounds hard is to constantly tell myself im ok and this is just my fear and worry setting it off, also do you have music you could listen to plug in your headphones i find sometimes distracting what i am going through can also really help.Anixiety is sheer hell i know but if you ever need to chat or have someone tell you your ok plz just email me, im lucky i have my partner bless him who i constantly ask if im ok.

I recently just got help for this. When your anxiety kicks up just go to the emergency room and tell them how you feel. That's what I did. I had problems with anxiety and never really knew it until I started getting really bad panic attacks. I had an attack and went to the er. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and from there was able to see a doctor for it. They prescribed me ativan wich seems to be working. They might want to prescribe u something different based on your own issue also they may not be able to give u anything until after u have the baby. There are also a lot of breathing exercises that can help calm you down. They work great. U don't want to take deep breaths tho. Try to just breath normally as possible. A lot of deep breathing will make u hyperventilate and panic more. I learned that the hard way. Hope this helps. Good luck
