Is there any point in living anymore?!

Question: Is there any point in living anymore?

Most people say that a humans purpose is to love, live and prosper. But those things cannot, for most people, be individual things to "acquire" by themselves. in other words, you cannot live if you have not experienced love, etc. So if you cannot find someone to love, or nobody will love you, is there any point in living? I'm in a rather similar situation. I'm debating suicide. Living's becoming boring and unsatisfying, but killing myself would be too much of a hassle. However, my social status at school is not very healthy considering I have near no social links with other people. My life at home is stressful and I've had to do everything myself since I was young. I'm seriously considering this, and I would like your opinion before I do anything I might regret. So I'll ask again, is there any point in living with an abusive home life, and no friends at school? I don't have any one I can hang out with around my neighborhood either. What would you do?

Don't hurt yourself. Suicidal thoughts are dumb. I would know I've had them many times in my life. But if I ever did it I wouldn't be were I'm at now. I'm still getting meds. and therapy but I'm I dk how many times better than I was 4-5 years ago. I'm very sorry for the living situation you're in. God loves you. He genuinely does. He loves everyone. God helped me out of every crazy situation I was in. I'll be praying for you. There is a reason to live: for God. Trust me life isn't perfect but He can make it better than you think. I know what it's like to be abused.

Life is a lot funner than you think. Being alive and human is a miracle. You should trying loving others and there will be someone to love you back. The people who posted answers obviously care for you. It's too early for you to give up.

Well, let's just say there's certainly no point in giving up and dying. What kind of goal is that for yourself? People undoutedly much worse off than you still struggle to live and survive difficult situations, like starvation, poverty, etc. School doesn't last forever. Do your best to get good grades and seek the help of teachers/counselors. Think about what you can or would like to do for work - we all have to work to get by. If you can do something you like and get paid for it, then you'd be happy, but education is probably a must to get where you want to go. Home life doesn't last forever either, you'll be able to move out at some point. If you can, at some point, get a pet, like a small dog or a cat, or volunteer at an animal shelter. The unconditional love and companionship that pets will give you is the best feeling there is.
