please help me quick?!

Question: Please help me quick?
I've just recently found out that a good friend of mine has been taking a lot of pills lately.
I didn't know the extent of it until tonight. We were chatting on facebook and his sentences were not making sense
I asked him what he was on and he said

10 ambien (5mg)
16 seroquel
2 ativans
and he's planning on taking 8 ir 20 mg adderal because he can't fight the urge to sleep.

I'm incredibly worried that he could over dose tonight.

Is it possible? if so I need to get to his house to drive him to the er.

Thank you.

Answers:

Go to his house. Don't drive him. You need to call for an emergency ambulance immediately.

EDIT: Can you ask him for the dosages? You're going to need them and after that many tablets he will very soon to too drowsy to tell you. Get the information out of him now before they start kicking in. Doctors need to know exactly how much of each drug he's taken in order to treat him.

Go to his house, call an ambulance. If you can't get over there, get an ambulance to his house and tell them the exact same thing you told us. He is already borderlining on an overdose after taking 16 Seroquel (depending on the dose) and 10 Ambien.

Seroquel is an antipsychotic which is also used to treat insomnia. Ativan is an anticonvulsant, anti-anxiety and sedative drug. Ambien, obviously, used to treat insomnia. Obviously he's going to feel tired after taking what is essentially 28 sleeping pills. Get an ambulance to him.

It is very possible. Get him to the hospital as fast as you can.

Accidental Overdoses

There's more of a possibility your friend will overdose if you sit around on the internet, instead of going over there and taking care of it yourself!

I don't get what your question I but call the hospital(er) and ask what you should do and if they say bring him bring him

Tell him he needs help. That is not a safe amount and overdose is very possible. Can you call him an ambulance or drive home to the hospital?

he's putting you on, maybe for attention or for you to feel sorry for him, dump this friend he sounds like a looser
