Question: How can I shake frustrations off? I'm happy as can be but as soon as something...?
I'm happy as can be but as soon as something real bad happens, it boils within me and affects me for the rest of the day - and sometimes the day after. How can I rid myself of this emotion?

Answers:

The best way I've found of letting go of resentment is to write it down. Keep a small notebook with you all the time. Everything that happens that starts this cycle, write it down. Be honest. Cuss and call people names. Write down if you know why this affected you.

Then think up options. Is this thing something you can control? Is it something that you can't? Try to develop an emotional maturity by working it through every single time. Soon you will see trends that happen. Maybe someone is subtly putting you down. Maybe someone is habitually ungrateful or unreliable or not trustworthy. Maybe it is connected to a past hurt that hasn't been resolved.

Whatever it is, it will more than likely show itself and you can work it out. Write, write, write...
