you know something..i have the same problem... But i always try to take them positively...whenever such things happen, just think about your parents and the hard work they do for you to see you successful.. They just want a positive result of what they've done for you...there are many children who do have parents but get into a wrong path because of the lack of guidance from their parents. I think your parents are feared for that only.. Tell your parents that you know your duties towards them and you won't disappoint them.. Talk to them and they'll surely understand...:-)

Depression is when you are lethargic and don't care any more.
You do care , you are not depressed but worried.

Try talking to your father , find some common ground , and when you are in a relaxed atmosphere with him and the mood is right , bring up one or two items you feel you need to discuss with him. Don't bring it on all at once either.

When there is no tension , things can be put into a better perspective by you both.

You are a 12th standard student. first of all you should not get into all kinds of silly issues going on in your family. if there is a problem just ignore it. Don't get into it as it will take a toll on your studies. just leave it off. Don't get into it. finish your 12th first and then you can get into all those problems. 12th is the deciding factor for your life. This is advice was given to me. Now i am giving it to you. Stop worrying for all those silly problems and don't get depressed. Always be happy.

welcome to the club.. most of the 17 or 18 yr olds here would've faced the same problem. maybe in a different way..

just do your duty as a student, and as a son. Love your parents whatsoever. Make them Realise that they're scolding you for 'nothing at all'. Study well, and score well so that there wont be any reason to yell at you. Create 'clean' image. Yes, its necessary to save your @$$ at home too.. believe me.

when you get into college, you'll have some other kinda issues.. parents got getting you a vehicle to go to college, unable to hit on a chick you met in the campus, and a horrible professor always getting you in trouble. Then when you get to work somewhere, you'll have a bad boss who makes you work day and night, you'll have colleagues who are back stabbers, you will struggle to get your parents agree for your marriage to the gal you love(in the indian scenario). And after marriage, you'll have a whole big responsibility to take care of your family, earn well, save a lot, spend wisely, educate your kids and also handle a naughty teenager like you..!!! (the clock has turned..lol..)
See, every age has its own issues. But you have to take it in its own spirit, and fight back. Become a strong person eventually.

All the best.

This happens in most houses. Just keep your mind cool and try to concentrate in your future career. Cant blame your parents too. Their routines makes them so. You see to your studies and development. Good luck

Try to stay out of their way, be amiable. Time will pass. You will be independent.
