Is it normal to not care about other people?!

Question: Is it normal to not care about other people?
For example, if someone tells you someone they knew died... You say your sorry because you want to respect the dead... But do you really care? Do you feel anything? Is it normal to feel nothing and to not care?

Answers:

I thinks its normal to not care. If its someone you don't know very well who died, you have no emotional attachment so you shouldn't feel anything. Its polite to express sympathy to your friend because you know he/she is hurting. You care for your friend so you say what you think will make your friend feel better.

I don't know how normal it is, but it shows you don't have strong empathy and you're not good at putting your self in other peoples shoes enough to sympathize. Also its hard to describe but you might not be fully thinking about the actual situation? Try really making it click in your head what happened, then ask if you at least kind of care? Sometimes I to feel like not the greatest person :/

Yes. Normally you should not get mentally disturbed by unsettling your mind like this. If you cannot handle such difficulties in life, please select a mentor of your own choice and strictly listen to his guidances.

Please for God's sake don't pass on such difficult confusion to innocent masses. Have some mercy.

On first day of April, people generally try to take advantage of the weakness of other people. Are you kidding like that and making them fools.

It generally depends on how many siblings you usually have...I find with alot of friends and more siblings, I tend to care more than I think I would.

It means that you are a guy with no penis. That is the only explenation why you are feeling this.
