what makes a person a attention seeker?!

Question: What makes a person a attention seeker?
Answers:

Someone who feels the need to make up stories no matter how unbelievable, doing anything to get attention including last resort drastic measures to gain the attention they crave.
Being loud enough so everyone can hear what they are talking about, excessively posting depressing or disturbing things on the internet via facebook etc.
Sometimes it is through ADHD, sometimes loneliness or lack of social interaction

Could be they didn't get enough attention as kids and now that they're grown up they feel the need to seek attention... some people just like attention and see it as a positive thing, it makes them feel important and special.

I've never been an attention seeker but I know a lot of people who are... :/

Middle-child syndrome... Or anything that caused them to feel that they didn't get enough attention as children.
