Have you ever gone to DBT (dialectical behavior therapy)?!

Question: Have you ever gone to DBT (dialectical behavior therapy)?
If you have, could you tell me a little about it? Like what was it like and how long have you or did you go? also did it help? do you feel it was a good thing to go to DBT? and would you recommend it to to others with BPD?

Answers:

Well I should preface this by saying that I do not have BPD.
You can find most of the activities and such online.
It's basically learning positive coping skills, how tolerate distress, and how to correctly manage relationships (of any kind)
There are 4 modules: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance.
Mindfulness: Learn skills that will help you calm down and remove yourself from distressing situations
Interpersonal effectiveness: how to interact with others and attend to your relationships so that they are healthy
Emotion Regulation: Trying to identify problematic emotions, stressors, and warning signs
Distress Tolerance: Good coping skills

I have been in a DBT group for over a year now..I have no choice in the matter, and I don't particularly like it because my issues are not resolved.
But for others in the group, I think it has really helped them.
I would recommend it for people with impulsive behaviors, very bad coping skills, and difficulty maintaining healthy relationships.
