Are agoraphobia and claustrophobia linked?!

Question: Are agoraphobia and claustrophobia linked?
Is it possible to suffer from both or are they completely opposite?

Answers:

Yes, people can suffer from both. Agoraphobia isn't just a "fear of large spaces" the way some people describe it- it's also a fear of leaving one's house and being in unfamiliar, unpredictable environments. And it's definitely possible for a person to be afraid of both leaving their home and being stuck in a small places.

Actually, I imagine someone could also have a fear of both too-small and too-larges places. It's like how someone can be afraid of both fire and freezing to death- they're opposite, but they're both bad.

Hello. Yes, it's possible. I have both of them. They are two different phobias, but you can definitely have both of them at the same time.
